In the name of Alkis Organisation, announces the March for Alkis, on the one-year anniversary of his murder, on Wednesday, 01/02. This will be a colourful, silent march, holding candles.
We invite all the citizens, the supporters, the fans, the athletes, the Academies members, to wear the colours of the teams they support and walk alongside with us so as to:
-Keep Alkis’ memory alive.
-To make Alkis a symbol of change
-To express in this way, the unbearable pain that his murder caused to everybody
-For everybody, but especially children, to learn that we can influence and change the rotten society we live in.
Just take a candle with you and join us…
We will gather at 18:00 p.m. where Alkis had been murdered, Nikolaou Plastira and Alkis Kampanos (ex Theodoros Gazis) Road, where Domi will action an activity of great symbolism.
Afterwards, walking, we will go to:
At 19:00 pm, to the Athletic Friendship Park (opposite Ippokratio Hospital). Its there where we have the appointment with all the clubs, athletes, citizens who will not be present where Alkis had been murdered.
Our final (ending) point, walking through Leoforos Stratou, is the White Tower.
We will project there Alkis’ photos, photos taken during actions done in his memory throughout Greece and abroad as well, and photos of Domi’s actions. There will be also an act in front of The White Tower.
Just join us, so as IN THE NAME OF ALKIS…
-To put an end to violence and hate.
-So as for the seed of empathy and coexistence that Domi stands for, to get fruitful.
-So as for our child, our brother to NEVER be forgotten.
